On 6 October 2025, the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev hosted the Energy Vibes 2.0 forum, organised by Supros together with the university in the year of AUES’s 50th anniversary.
The forum focused on T-shaped specialists — a new generation of engineers who combine deep professional expertise with broad competencies in digital technologies, ESG, management and innovation.
The panel discussion, moderated by Abzal Narymbetov, Director of Energy Analytics, stood out for its lively, practical focus. Industry leaders shared experience and discussed the qualities employers value today and how to build a career in 21st-century energy.

The SUPROS named scholarship
The final part of the forum was the award of the SUPROS named scholarship of 1,000,000 tenge, established for students in Thermal Power Engineering.
The scholarship was awarded to Vilen Alimbekov — an active, initiative-driven and talented representative of the next generation of engineers.
This award reflects Supros’s commitment to supporting young specialists and strengthening the link between education and industry.
A platform for the future
Energy Vibes 2.0 continues Supros’s initiative to develop Kazakhstan’s engineering potential and promote sustainable approaches in energy.
The company plans to expand the format, creating a regular platform for knowledge exchange between universities, business and future industry professionals.
